For our 50th anniversary we have created a dedicated logo, to link our history to our vision of the future.
5.0 represents the future, the evolutionary phase we have undertaken in line with the vision of Industry 5.0, for a more sustainable, resilient and Person-centered industry.
"The new shape of plastics” represents new shapes: new materials, products, engineering and relationships, to bring innovation and well-being with the excellence of plastics.
It all started with the injection molding of plastic materials and the construction of molds for technical and aesthetic items for many industrial sectors. Over the course of our 50 years, we have integrated engineering and value-added services to become a Full System Supplier.
We are accredited as a Research Laboratory of the High Technology Network of Emilia Romagna. Every year we invest in R&D and advanced technologies, to give our customers a cutting-edge service.
50 years later, a new chapter opens up for Ghepi. JSP International, a world leader and specialist in foam materials, invests in Ghepi to create a Center of Excellence in injection molding.
To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we have chosen to entrust Art with the task of transmitting the values of Plastics, which can become the protagonist of the circular economy.
Alice Padovani was chosen thanks to the collaboration with Nicla Ferrari and Gaia Bertani of Gommapane Lab, curators of the Project. The artist's style, inspired by museum archiving, was excellent for enhancing the materials and components of Ghepi's production process and giving them future memory.
With this project we intend to offer a new narrative around plastics, an important material in modern life, recyclable, reusable and light, the protagonist of the carbon footprint reduction and of the circular economy.
And the circular shape characterizes many of Alice Padovani's works, evoking contents such as regeneration, sustainability, circularity, continuity, consistent with the values that the Project wants to convey.
Per festeggiare i nostri 50 anni abbiamo scelto di affidare all’arte il compito di dare voce ai nostri valori per offrire una nuova narrazione della materia plastica, che può diventare protagonista dell’economia circolare.
Dall’11 al 16 febbraio Ghepi sarà la Residenza d’artista per Alice Padovani che realizzerà un’opera d’arte inedita a partire dalle nostre componenti plastiche per dare nuova forma alla plastica.
Abbiamo scelto Alice per la qualità della sua ricerca e della sua espressione artistica, ispirata all’archiviazione museale e portatrice di futura memoria.
Il progetto è realizzato in concertazione con Gommapane lab.

On April 8th, we kicked off our all-female Hackathon:
20 excellent students and PhD students of the Universities of:
from the Departments of Management Engineering, Industrial, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Construction-Architecture, Advanced Design, Product Design, stayed with us for 3 days of research and sharing ideas and knowledge.
The girls, divided into teams, worked on two different sustainability challenges.
After a few months of extraordinary research and photography by the artist Francesca Artoni, we inaugurated the exhibition with the skilful curatorship of Gommapane Lab.
We are very happy for this event which is part of the 50th anniversary of our company with multiple objectives:
1. Remembering history and what we have done thanks to the People who are and have been with us.
2. Recognize the strength of our present and imagine the future.
3. Narrating Plastics with new expressive codes, those of art, to enhance a range of extraordinary materials, protagonists of our daily life and of the circular economy.
You may visit the exhibition until 12 June, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 to 17.30.

Art and Culture continue to accompany our 50th Anniversary and we are very happy about this!
Fabio Storchi and Filippo Di Gregorio, President and Director of Unindustria Reggio Emilia, gave us Graziano Pompili’s “Homo Faber” Artwork as acknowledgment for our work.
President Storchi explained the meaning of the Artwork, in the artist’s words: “I tried to express in an essential and very simple way the industrious man who shows what he knows and can do; a house that means building, from his own nest in the skyscraper; a boat that embodies travel and the discovery of new horizons.
“ In the photos together with the President and the Director: the founders (Partners), Nemesio Gherpelli and Maria Gabriella Pinotti, the daughters Elisabetta, Angela and Mariacristina (Partners), Claudio Galli (Board member).
Thank you for this wonderful meeting which ended with the visit of our company.
On Friday 3 December, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary at “Corte Bebbi”, a delightful corner of our territory.
50 years lived intensely, sometimes on a roller coaster, concentrated in a night filled with beautiful emotions, lively joy and authentic harmony.
The participation of Masakazu Sakaguchi, President and CEO of JSP International, and Martin Storb, Vice President – New Business Development, our new Partners, was really surprising and very welcome.
They offered very nice gifts from Japan to the founders of GHEPI, Nemesio Gherpelli and Gabriella Pinotti, and brought a greeting message in Italian that prompted immediate and warm applause! We sincerely thank them for the great cordiality in being with us and for the friendly attitude with everyone.
The Collaborators donated a very beautiful Bonsai to the Gherpelli-Pinotti family as a symbol “… of constant change, the evolution of destiny throughout life. …” (letter in the photographs).
They were very emotional moments that reminded us of the past years and projected us towards the future!
In memory of the 50th anniversary, a limited-edition lithograph of the “ICON” piece of art, signed by the artist Alice Padovani, was donated to everyone.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone!
A single anniversary to celebrate was not enough for us, however important! And so, to Ghepi’s first 50 years we wanted to add another 40, those passed by Massimo Orlandini!
Massimo has dedicated his entire working career to our company: after high school, for a few months, and then after his civil service, until today … and it’s not over yet!
First of all a very nice person, you can always rely on. He has always been close to us, even in the most difficult moments. It is a point of reference in the formation of young people.
And then an excellent professional, Technical Production Manager, with high-profile skills in the molding of a wide range of materials, from Biopolymers to PEEK, and in the use of different process technologies.
Thanks to these characteristics he was awarded the honor of the Stella al Merito and the title of Maestro del Lavoro a few years ago.

I participated in the hackathon Designing Circular Future of GHEPI S.r.l. , it was an experience that gave me the opportunity to meet new people and get involved, developing a team project for a sustainable use of plastic. I had the opportunity to participate in the Hackaton of GHEPI S.r.l. designing circular future held on 8-9-10 April in Cavriago, Reggio Emilia. I am also happy to be able to say that the project developed by our team: Aurea design was ranked first.🥇 The challenge we accepted was to design a new sustainable product thinking about the technologies and materials used by the company. I take this opportunity to thank GHEPI S.r.l. for organizing a beautiful educational and engaging event and my travel companions in this short but unforgettable experience.
